Get Your Food Delivered: FoodBag
For school we were assigned to make a commercial for a food delivery company. We were allowed to choose this company. The video had to include 3D elements and a hologram.
It is important that the end result is believable to the viewers. We want them to feel like they are watching a real food delivery service experience. This must almost be usable for an advertisement, documentary, social video and other purposes.
Client
My client choice is Belgian Food delivery brand FoodBag.
Foodbag is a Belgian company that offers meal boxes. They deliver ingredients and recipes directly to customers' doors, allowing them to prepare home-cooked meals at home. The company offers different types of meal boxes, including vegetarian options and boxes for special diets. Customers can order meal boxes online and can often choose from an assortment of recipes for the week. The concept of meal boxes such as Foodbag has become popular because of the convenience and healthy options it offers for people who like to cook at home but don't always have the time to go grocery shopping.
Strengths:
Convenience: Foodbag offers customers the convenience of home delivery of all the ingredients they need to prepare a meal, simplifying grocery shopping and meal planning.
Recipe Variety: The company offers a wide range of recipes, including vegetarian options and dishes for special diets, giving customers the flexibility to choose dishes that suit their taste preferences and nutritional needs.
Quality of ingredients: Foodbag strives to provide fresh and high-quality ingredients, which can lead to tastier and healthier meals.
Reducing food waste: By providing just the right amounts of ingredients needed for each meal, Foodbag can help reduce food waste.

Weaknesses:
Costs: Using meal boxes such as Foodbag can be more expensive than doing your own shopping, because customers often pay for the convenience and service of home delivery.
Limited Flexibility: Although Foodbag offers a wide variety of recipes, customers may feel limited in their choices compared to planning and cooking meals independently.
Packaging waste: Individually packaging ingredients in meal boxes can lead to additional packaging waste, which can be a disadvantage for environmentally conscious customers.
No pack for 1 person orders: It is not possible to order meals for one person.
Dependency on Delivery: Customers depend on the timely delivery of their meal boxes, which can be a challenge if logistical issues arise or there are delivery delays.
Moodboard
the video should have a very homely, but colorful atmosphere, making it a very pleasant video. Foodbag's target group is generally families and families with children. Therefore, the parents in the families should be attracted to the company based on the atmosphere created in the video.
Script
The script opens with a tired young woman coming home after a long day of work. She drops her bag and looks around her apartment tiredly. Her stomach rumbles, suggesting she is hungry. She then picks up her phone and opens the FoodBag app.

A voice-over emphasizes that coming home after a long day is sometimes just coming home, but that there is one thing you can count on: FoodBag, your convenience, your food. The woman starts scrolling through the menu on her phone, and her face lights up when she sees her favorite dish. She places her order, and as she does so, a holographic representation of her chosen meal appears above her phone. This shows that you can see your meal before you actually order it.

While waiting for her order, the woman begins to clean up her apartment and set the table. This emphasizes the convenience of ordering from FoodBag, as she has time to do other things while she waits.

Suddenly there is a flash of the doorbell. The woman opens the door and receives her order from a delivery person, who hands it to her with a smile. This shows FoodBag's fast and efficient delivery service.

The woman opens the bag containing her order and her face lights up as she smells the delicious aroma of her meal. She scoops the food onto a plate and begins to eat, a satisfied smile on her face. This illustrates the satisfaction and enjoyment that customers experience when eating their order from FoodBag.

The script ends with the FoodBag logo and the tagline: "Let us take care of you." This emphasizes the convenience and care that FoodBag offers to its customers.
